Global innovation: Smart Flux adds 100% digital release of export B/L to digital release of import containers

In an increasingly demanding logistics scenario, where efficiency and automation are key factors, Smart Flux has burst onto the scene as a digital solution for maritime logistics and today launches a tool that has been longed for by the industry: the digital release of the Bill of Lading (B/L) for Exports.

“After a lot of hard work by our digital development teams, we would like to announce that, as of 7 July this year, we will be delivering the second version of our highly successful Smart Flux Container Release System to the market. It adds to the multiple capabilities of the first version, the Export Module. Our users will be able to perform the document management of the release of export BL’s, just as they do today with import BL’s, in a fast, transparent, effective way with the automatic application of the Business Rulesagreed between the shipping lines and their customers”, says Matthew Taylor, CEO of Smart Flux.

With this new module, Smart Flux digitises 100% of the document management of maritime container logistics, with 24/7 availability, being an innovative proposal that combines full automation, self-service and full traceability.

Developed to respond to the growing needs of maritime logistics efficiency, Smart Flux offers a multi-currency, multi-country system, adapting to the industry’s diverse regulatory and operational frameworks. In addition, it delivers real-time analytical information to regional offices, enabling decision making based on continuously updated data.

Among its most outstanding competitive advantages, Smart Flux offers full automation of the container release document process, eliminating face-to-face procedures, e-mails and physical visits to offices; it has direct integration via API with ERP systems, which facilitates invoicing, reconciliation and payment processes; has a robust and secure infrastructure based on AWS, which incorporates artificial intelligence to continuously optimise operational efficiency; allows the integration of business rules, reports and KPIs, providing full traceability of operations; and ensures continuous improvements, permanently adapted to the specific needs of each shipping company and local regulations.

Smart Flux already operates successfully in Chile and Peru, where it has been evaluated as the best logistics portal of the sector in Chile for two consecutive years (Customer Experience Perception Survey conducted by the consultancy PMG), and achieved an impressive 86% adoption rate in Peru during its first month of operation.

Thanks to its modular approach, the implementation of Smart Flux adapts to the size and level of integration of each customer, taking only 4 months, under a formal business blueprint that guarantees an orderly and secure deployment.

“Smart Flux doesn’t just digitise processes, it reinvents them. We deliver real efficiency, total control and a risk-free business model, making us a strategic digital ally for shipping companies looking to optimise their operations without barriers to entry,” concludes Taylor.

With this proposal, Smart Flux consolidates its position as one of the most disruptive logistics solutions worldwide, leading the way to a new era of maritime logistics: efficient, secure and truly digital.
