Agenced by Ian Taylor in Ecuador, a subsidiary of Empresas Taylor, a significant amount of vehicles and machinery were brought in by the vessels Arc Resolve of Wallenius Wilhelmsen Ocean (WWO) and Morning Conductor of EUKOR during February.
A total of 2,801 units were unloaded in the port of Manta between the two ships.
The M/N Arc Resolve brought a total of 819 units, 772 vehicles and 47 machines, of brands such as Suzuki, Ford and Citroen, among others.
On the other hand, the M/N Morning Conductor unloaded 1,982 units, 1,934 vehicles and 48 machines of brands such as Caterpillar, JAC, Chery, Hyundai and Dongfeng, among others.
According to Byron Martinez, Senior Operations of Ian Taylor in Ecuador, “these figures are quite important to start the year, where we have the goal of exceeding last year’s figures, in which we managed the unloading of 44,675 units that came on board the vessels of the shipping companies we represent, EUKOR and Wallenius Wilhelmsen Ocean. We hope, together with our representatives and collaborators, to continue on this path and to continue contributing to the internal dynamism of the automotive market in Ecuador”.
