Taylor Logistics is the new Agent for Chile for the German multinational company HOYER Global Transport, owned by Hamburg Hoyer GmbH.

From January of this year, 210.000 litres of bulk liquid cargo in flexitanks have been shipped from Chilean ports to Asia by Taylor Logistics – a subsidiary of Empresas Taylor – who represent in Chile the German multinational Hoyer Global Transport.

In mid-January, Taylor Logistics carried out its first export shipment as Hoyer’s agent, loading two flexitanks with bulk wine in Valparaiso destined to China. This is a new milestone in Empresas Taylor’s more than 50 years history.

The operation commenced with Empresas Taylor selecting adequate containers in the shipping line’s depot, then assembling the flexitanks in its own depot and continuing with the loading of the product at the customer’s vineyard in Santa Cruz. In the following weeks, this logistics operation was complemented by four additional flexitanks for the same customer, also destined to China. Another three flexitanks, loaded with salmon oil were trucked by Taylor Logistics to Puerto Lirquen for shipment to Vietnam.
