From Rio de Janeiro, 83 packages of oversized cargo arrived at the José de los Santos Mardones Terminal in Punta Arenas for an industrial complex that supplies, distributes and markets its product all over the world.
Brokered by Ian Taylor, a subsidiary of Empresas Taylor, the oversized cargo came aboard the BBC Chartering vessel Eagle, one of the world’s largest multipurpose, heavy lift and project cargo shipping companies, which has already brought various cargoes to Punta Arenas, including wind turbines for the production of renewable energy and green H2.
According to Sergio Vergara, Branch Manager of Ian Taylor in Punta Arenas, “the arrival of this oversized cargo is a complex operation that requires high expertise, so we are pleased to be able to meet this requirement, especially because these are elements that will be used for the maintenance of this industrial complex that provides this chemical compound to major international markets in North and South America, Europe and Asia Pacific”.
