Empresas Taylor has signed a contract for the construction of two new launches for the embarkation of port pilots and other port operations, which will be incorporated into the company’s fleet and will operate under the Ian Taylor brand.
The launches will be named Taylor Dalcahue and Taylor Elqui and will be incorporated into the company’s fleet in Chile within six months.
The PPT Taylor Dalcahue and PPT Taylor Elqui launches, were ordered from the Ascon Puerto Montt shipyard, the same builder of the last three units that the company has received.
These launches are part of the company’s investment plan, highlighted by two new Damen ASD 2810 tugboats that have recently been incorporated into the Empresas Taylor fleet for its operations in Peru and three launches for Pilot and port services for its operations in Chile.
