Ian Taylor starts the year in Peru with the agency of two vessels with more than 2,000 units of vehicles and break bulk cargo.

The Ian Taylor agency in Peru, a subsidiary of Empresas Taylor, had a good start to the year with good numbers, receiving in the ports of Callao and Pisco two Ro-Ro’s vessels from the shipping companies it represents: EUKOR Car Car Carriers Inc and Wallenius Wilhelmsen Ocean (WWO), which unloaded 2,389 units between vehicles and break bulk cargo.

On this occasion, EUKOR’s M/N Morning Margaretta unloaded 1,676 units in Callo and WWO’s M/N Tirrana unloaded 713 units in the port of Pisco.

It should be added that during the year 2022, Ian Taylor managed 24 EUKOR and WWO vessels which discharged a total of 44,166 units of vehicles at the port of Callao. 

According to Rocio Ponce, Ian Taylor’s country manager in Peru, “we have started 2023 in an excellent way, together with the shipping lines we represent, unloading this important quantity of units. Despite some logistical problems that have arisen due to the situation affecting Peru, we have been able to meet the demands of our customers. We expect this year to be very fruitful not only in the agency of RoRo vessels, but also in significantly boosting our Integrated Services”.
