The modern Ian Taylor Container Release System in Chile has released 17,967 import containers so far in the second half of 2024, making a total of 63,758 containers that have been released 100% digitally this year.

This innovative system, which aims to facilitate the processing of containerised cargo, has been used for five years by the Ian Taylor shipping agency in the context of becoming an Agency 4.0.

Among the attributes highlighted by those who have used the different digital tools of the Ian Taylor Container Release System are its ease of use and the automation of various processes, such as Demurrage Payment, BL Viewer, Exchange Rate and the purchase of insurance policies, among other options.

According to Ian Taylor’s Country Manager in Chile, Fabricio Siclari, ‘the Container Release System has been very well received as an innovative tool that significantly speeds up the procedures to release and enter the container into the country. Those who have used it have been able to reduce the time of the processes, save money and do it remotely, always counting on the support of our team to answer their queries and help them at all times’.
