5,238 units of vehicles were unloaded in Ecuador, during the first half of this year 2024, on ships of the shipping companies that Ian Taylor agency in this country.

A total of 11 calls were made by the subsidiary of Empresas Taylor in the port of Manta. In addition to ro-ro cargo, these vessels also discharged 472 break bulk cargo units, bulks and machinery.

Fabricio Constante, country manager of Ian Taylor in Ecuador, said that “despite the economic problems that have arisen during this year in terms of global logistics, we have been able, together with our employees and representatives, to get the job done to meet the requirements of our customers. We are very active to face the challenges of the market during the second half of the year”.

In addition, Ian Taylor’s country manager in Ecuador said that break bulk cargo “is also a very important component within the services we offer, being able to transport break bulk cargoes such as heavy goods, industrial machinery, spare parts, heavy equipment and a wide variety of products that cannot be loaded in conventional containers”.
