Ian Taylor, a subsidiary of Empresas Taylor, agency in the Port of San Antonio the first call of a ship operated by the shipping company EUKOR, which unloaded 300 electric buses to strengthen the public transport system of Santiago.

This operation marks the beginning of a series of three calls, which in total will bring nearly 900 new electric buses to the country, consolidating Santiago as the city outside China with the largest number of electric buses in circulation in the world.

‘We are proud to be part of this initiative that not only improves the quality of public transport, but also reinforces the importance of the Port of San Antonio as a gateway for clean technology to the country,’ said Ronald Salinas, Agency Coordinator, San Antonio office, Ian Taylor.

The arrival of these vehicles represents a new boost to the mobility policy, contributing directly to the reduction of polluting emissions, lower noise levels, energy efficiency and a better travel experience in areas of high demand for transport.
